Paragliding and a new family member :)

Oi gente,

Tudo beleza? :)
The other day my better half and I went on a Paragliding trip with one of my boyfriend's buddies, who is a passionate Paraglider. Unfortunately we didn't go paragliding, we were just watching. None the less it was super fun! We drove to Penedo, where the Paragliding school of the area is located. It is called PeNoAr and owned by Andre, a German guy, who has been running the place for about 15 years - teaching paragliding, selling equipment and offering paragliding tours. The Agulhas Negras region of Rio de Janeiro is ideal for that. On a clear day it must be heaven to be out there flying.

From Penedo we drove about 20 minutes towards Visconde de Maua, where we stopped at a big hill - the place where the guys started there glide. It was super interesting to see how things are done and looked really easy, but sure enough it takes a lot of focus, strength and courage to paraglide. Me and my boyfriend were just watching but soon enough he wants to go paragliding himself. I am a bit sceptical about my own skills as it is hard enough to drive a car for me without damaging anything. But I'd be interested in a tandem-paraglide. Well, anyhow, here are some photos for you. Enjoy! :)

Beautiful landscape along the road to Visconde de Maua

Welcome to the jungle! :) :)
Overlooking the region, you can see Resende in the distance
One of the guys ready to FLY! :) I love his hat! =D
And there goes! Just about 30 seconds later he was up in the air flying over the valley.
It is really impressive how fast these things go!

The gringa enjoying the nature and the sun :)
And one more!
:)
Haha - Saw this Fusquinha on the way back and just had to take a photo. I love these old-school VWs! :))
That really was a lovely day! Well, apart from that we got a new family member. He is a little kitten named Tigrinho or Little Tiger in English. He is a real sweetheart and eventhough I am 100% of a dog-person and not particularly fond of cats, this one found its way into my heart. Tigrinho is about 3 months old and was really skinny and anxious when we got him, the poor thing! But by now he gained some weight, is really healthy and rules over everyone in the house. Here's some photos for you. Enjoy! :)

Sleeping Tigrinho - so adorable
Aww - he is like a baby lion. Reminds me of baby Simba in The Lion King :))

The cat and me :)
Such a cute one, that little Tigrinho! I will share some more photos with you soon. But for now I gotta go get some work done! Have a wonderful rest of the week, everyone. Um beijo!

Dani
